I made this to help me writing out my meta tags as it used to annoy me when I’d been writing away only to have a load of text trimmed off at the end. So with this you just set your character length and off you go every time you stop typing (onkeyup) it checks your text length for you saving you time and effort. Can also be used as a text trimmer.
